THE SPIRITUAL EXERCISES OF ST.
IGNATIUS A Retreat in Everyday Life A new group is forming. Call
to register.
The Spiritual Exercises created by Ignatius
of Loyola are one of the unique and special time-tested traditions of spiritual
transformation in church history. Based on his own conversion experience, the
Exercises are designed to be a way of re-discovering God's unique love for us
in a heartfelt, experiential way. It is an opportunity to learn again to hear
the language of love with which God speaks to us. During this retreat in
everyday life, we wlook at the dynamics inherent in the process of the
Exercises, practice the prayer format specific to the Exercises and share the
prayer experiences of the graces received. This retreat offers a taste of the
transforming Exercises as they are lived in the reality of everyday life.
